Nowadays, "standard" anti-virus protection systems, advanced anti-virus and EDR solutions are not enough. Intrusions are becoming increasingly sophisticated, using vulnerabilities and attacking processes in working memory instead of the operating system or disk. AV, NGAV and EDR solutions do not have an answer to this because they use attack templates and file system-level protection that sophisticated attacks successfully bypass. Thus, the need for additional protection developed by Morphisec was created.

Moving Target Defense (MTD) – each loaded process into working memory is "moved" to a random place, leaving behind a "skeleton". When the malicious code attacks the skeleton, it remains trapped where it safely "detonates" and other protective systems successfully neutralize it. By constantly moving, MTD almost completely eliminates the possibility of key applications and systems being attacked and compromised.
